I am very curious to know how people get so many "best answers" . I congratulate you for them, my yahoo friends. Some of you have heaps. What am I doing wrong?????

I know I have 97 best questions, but some of you have the same amount of points as me and some of you have over 300 best answers.

kimmybabe, it's not about getting Best Answer, it's about having fun, helping people, and trying to put a smile on someones face.

When I first started I spent a long time researching answers.With daily limitations I took my time and tried to give the best possible answer I could.I will let you into a secret.Answer questions from the back pages.There are loads of questions that have never been attempted at all.I answered all the obscure questions.Bizarre questions.It was more of a challenge to discover what the answer was.Some I never found the answer to,but it was fun trying to give the asker what they wanted,and to be the only person who could be bothered looking.I didn't answer any popular questions,that everyone would answer.That lowered my chance.Check back to questions in all categories from maybe 3 days ago,nobody looks there.A lot of people have answered with rubbish and nonsense.Pick one that has been answered badly,and find the right answer.That is the best way.

The way to get more best answers is give better answers and often, or become an expert at a specific subject like Richard is in Chemistry. He gets 51% best Answers. Now, some people cheat, teaming up with others and trading off best answers. You can look it up in their history. On the average 15% is about right. And watch out for questions you know are going to get thrown out and people you know aren't going to pick a best answer. Those situations are a waste of time. Good Luck.

Really you aren't doing anything wrong, when I answer questions I really think about what I want to say and say what you feel in your heart. Most people will chose the person that put the most effort or thought into their answers. That's what I do on every single answer I've posted. I hoped this helped.

what are you talkin about u got 97 best answers ...the person who wrote the question picks you or people who come look at the question and answers pick the best ones they like ..you are doin a good job ...

Try to answer the questions that only have a couple of answers, you will have a better chance.

Just answer as many questions as you can a day. As time goes on you get more and more.
