I just asked a similar question last night, only I married my best friend. I'm on the opposite side of the fence as you. I desperately want out of this marriage after 2 years. If she doesn't feel the same about you, if you have open communication and you both understand where you think this relationship might lead, then it might be worthwhile. If not, tread carefully. Prepare to get your heart broken. Sometimes friends should just stay friends.

First things first...have you told her how you feel about her? By talking to her one of two things are going to happen. 1-she will say I never knew that you felt that way and she will concider you for her next boyfriend or 2- she will tell you that she could never date you because she does not see you in that respect but will respect your honesty.

Just tell her how u feel. Maybe she does like u the same way u like her but doesn't want to admitted it. I am actually in ur situation because I am also in love my best friend too and I am to scared to tell him because I am afraid it could ruin our friendship in the end and I don't want to lose him in way shape or form.

The only thing you can do is be the best friend that you can possibly be. Maybe let her know how you feel...and be there for her when she gets her heart broken to help pick up the pieces. Maybe she'll realize that you're the one thats always there for her.

Have you ever seen the movie 'Just Friends'? It's good. Watch it. If you guys really are best friends, tell her. I told my best guy friend I liked him and everything worked out fine. It ended up that he liked me, too, but we both decided it wasn't the best thing to date...but that was just because...I'm not quite sure, it was a while ago. But yeah, tell her.

tell her
A guy and a girl can be friends. But sooner or later one will fall for the other. Maybe too early, maybe too late, but maybe, just maybe forever
Good Luck!!

you might lose her as a best friens..maybe she dont feel that way about you...ie:she loves you as a friend...but thats all...treat her like a friend and time will tell if she feels anything more...then again you could just ask her plain and simple...

you should talk to her and reveal your true feelings to her in a passionate way, you might be surprised of what she really thinks and it all might work out , if it doesn't then at least you won't have that burden in you
