Move out asap, get your name off the rental agreement, and find a new place.
If you cant move out, then force your roommate move out.
Dont bother trying to change this person or tell them what they can and cant do, it isnt worth the trouble.

The great thing about college is you have some options. Talk to your Resident Assistant or Resident Hall Director. If she really isn't going to class, chances are she won't last because her grades will suffer. Most colleges usually have some sort of student service center where you can talk to someone about issues. Go to them and tell them you find it offensive that she's looking at this sort of material. Maybe your roommate is having some psychological issues of her own (about sexual preference or body issues, coping with stress) and they can suggest a solution or suggest an appointment for your roommate and work with your RA.

Is there something like a guidance councelor or a dorm monitor? When I was in college, there was a woman whose job it was to monitor the dorms, and we would go to her with things like roommate problems. I can't remember what her real title was, though.
Most likely, if she doesn't go to class, she's on academic probation and is failing everything anyway, so she'll probably be kicked out soon!
I went through 7 roommates in college, and I really got along great with only 1 of them. Unfortunately, it happens that way.
Good luck!

There are really only 3 options: find a new roomate, ask her not to look at it while your around, or you learn to live with it. All of these choices have their benefits, but I think one of these choices are the best solution. You might not like what I have to say....you can find a new roomate but she could be even worse. Since you have to LIVE with her, it's totally reasonable to ask her not to look at this icky stuff, but ultimately, if you can learn to not let her wierd and irresponsible actions affect you, you will be that much better off. Who cares if she doesn't go to class? You are, good for you! As for her porn, don't look at her computer- I mean I know I wouldn't. However, if she really bothers you, it's not wrong to ask. Best of luck!

I don't know if this will help a lot with your situation...but I am also in college. Have you talked to your RA or anything along those lines? They are really there to help you out with those kinds of things, they have to write up stuff and things like that about that kind of stuff. Also, you should be able to make a room change request if you really want to change your room. But I think you should really talk to your RA, they should be the ones who could majorly help you out, and if not...go talk to Res Life.
Hope that works out for you...sorry!!!

Ask for another roommate. negative people can create negative environments. They have a saying " When In Rome, You Do As The Romans Do". She will either rub off on you or you will rub off on her, judging from your remark I don't think you can influence her to be more positive.

How do you know what she does all day IF you're in class? Quit looking over her shoulder and simply ask her to not look at porn when you are in the room. Tell her that it makes you uncomfortable.

As long as she's not bothering you I would leave her alone.
The next time you have an extra minute speak to your adviser just to get a professional opinion.
