A guy named Da Vid founded the party in 1984 as the Human Ecology Party. It was officially named the Light Party in 1995.The party's major beliefs are "Health, Peace, and Freedom for All." From this they formed a 7-point platform. With only 1500 total members, the party can't even get enough signatures to be placed on a ballot. The last I heard of them was when Da Vid was running for President in 2004 as a write-in candidate, but I think he eventually dropped out. They do have a website. Whether its updated or not I don't know.

I would rather go to a party somewhere. I am a social butterfly and although the candle light dinner sounds nice, it couldn't hold a flame to a good party.
