I have a lot of morals and values, and because of this, there are many "ordinary" things that I do not partake in. Here's a short list:
I very seldom drink alcoholic beverages.
I don't smoke.
I don't use recreational drugs or pot.
I don't have, or admire, any tattoos or body piercings.
I don't dance.
I don't gamble.
I don't "play the field."
I don't party.
Am I weird? I'm not a religious fanatic. I just enjoy being very conservative and reserved. Are there others out there, like me, and if so, where are they?

I just would like to know that I am not the only person in existence whom I can relate to in these ways. It's nice to have peers, but finding peers who share these traits is tough.

No! Quite frankly, you're probably one of the very few people in the world who is very secure in being yourself, and does not have to conform to social norms of acceptance to be happy. I for one salute you for doing so.

Depends on your definition of weird.
If it's "not ordinary" Yup, you're weird.
Still, having strong morals isn't a bad thing, as long as you don't judge people with different morals as being bad.
I don't see drinking as wrong, though drinking to excess is.
I don't see occasionally smoking as bad, but to excess, it is.
I don't see certain uses of pot or some other drugs as bad, but again, excess is.
I don't see dancing (except for that in sex joints) as bad at all.
Gambling to the point where you lose control is definitely bad, but playing card games and such isn't
Playing the field, as in promiscuous sex, I think is wrong.
If by party, you mean getting drunk and carrying on, I never got into that, but I've been to some really good partys, where that sort of thing didn't happen. I guess it just depends on definitions.
In short, I think that (for me) morals simply mean that we don't let emotions or addictions control our lives. We avoid what we might not be able to control, and control what we do.
I don't know.... I guess that I see moderation in all things, rather than complete abstincence is best when it can be achieved. Being an alcoholic, I avoid that substance, but I don't think that drinking for someone who is not alcoholic as wrong. That's the way I look at the rest of it too.

Whether a person is adjudged as weird largely depends upon who they're hanging out with. If you were spending time with people with your "morals and values" or people who chose to exercise (or not exercise) the same options, you'd be considered perfectly ordinary and in step with that particular lifestyle.
In my estimation, however, the one thing that you have to watch out for is feeling that your particular "morals and values" are the 'right' way to be, and that anyone who doesn't subscribe to them is somehow on a lesser moral plane than are you.
Be aware that by your own standards, you're not perfect--you admit that you sometimes drink alcohol. And I'm a bit more than curious as to what your definition of 'party' is. A party doesn't have to be a wild debacle--its basic definition is just a group of people having a celebration of some sort. It can be something as simple as a bunch of people getting together for a meal to congratulate someone who just made a major accomplishment or reached a milestone in his or her life.
Remember to 'judge not lest ye be judged'. If you want people to respect your right to be different from them, then it's important to respect their rights to live by their personal "morals and values" which may differ from yours. Personal liberty goes in both directions

Nothing wrong with a party now and then... and I do wish I had learn to slow dance, as we used to call it.... all the rest of the list are best avoided... no... would not say you are weird... just in a minority... I used to drink...a lot..never did drugs...did smoke some pot when I worked the orchards as a kid... an old mexican fellow gave me some,... made me sick and i never did it again...smoked for 30 yrs... quit in 96...gambled alittle...just enough to know I was no good at it... cant stanad tattoos or piercing...always restricted "the field" to one at a time... so I can say you have made some good choises...

Moral and values...thinking you are weird? Let's see what I dont do.
I very seldom drink alcoholic beverages (well, i dont drink alcohol at all)
I don't smoke (I dont like smoking at all and never)
I don't use recreational drugs or pot (I dont take drugs...unless doctor's prescription is included?)
I don't have, or admire, any tattoos or body piercings (I dont like tattoos..the only body piercings i have is my ears and that's all)
I don't dance (I wish to dance but cant)
I don't gamble (dont like the idea of it...unless a small playful betting is included? but rarely...)
I don't party (No...I'm more of a private or quiet person)
Are you weird? I don't think so. Of course, many would think that way because they are not like you. My mother loves proper breeding, something like British but not all so she trained us as much as she could. Though i try or fail certain but I prefer being polite and have manners when talking to someone or a very dear friend properly.
Take this way, as my young adopted sister before told me. You are weird but in a special way.

You have similar traits as me. you are not wierd. IT's good to have diversity in personality. and you are not a religious fanatic. I am a super prudent person. I don't take risks after 3 possible outcome checks. that's what you call over prudent.

You're not weird, you just like doing things the way you do them. That's nothing out of the ordinary, and certainly nothing to be ashamed of.
My only question is, what on Earth do you do with your free time?

if thats how you wanna live your life thats cool, why worry what other people think, you gotta be happy with yourself in order to progress in life and not turn out to be a miserable bum, if your happy with your choices then dont worry. Your not weird you just know who you are.
