I think that West Indies is playing really good right now, so they have a pretty good chance of winning...but so does Australia and South Africa. I guess we'll have to wait and see..

Since cricket is a game of uncertainties, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of a tournament in advance.
World Cup will be played after couple of months and it will be all the more difficult to predict the winners at this point of time due to following main reasons:
1) Names of players representing each country are still not
known.
2) What will be the form of players representing each
country at the time of World cup is also not kow.
The players presently in peak form need not necessarily
retain the same form after couple of months. Similarly
the players presently going through bad phase can lift
their performance to higher level by the time the world
cup starts.
In view of the above the safe prediction one can make is any of the 8 top countries can win the World Cup if the play to their
potential on the given day.
