It has never happened to me. Next time, make sure you have some salt with you. Sprinkle a generous amount on the scorpion. If the scorpion is actually a snail, the salt will draw all the moisture out of it's body and it will shrivel up and die. Watch out! If it's really a scorpion it will probably be very irate!
