Most RV Parks will let you use their shower facilities for a nominal fee ($2-5). Some swimming pools will also allow people to just use the shower, usually for around $2. Also, campgrounds will generally let you use the shower facilities as well ... if there is a campground host or attendant, probably cost $2. Truck stops are another place with showers available for a small amount.

As far as bike accessories, do an online search, should come up with some good retail outlets, or post your need on craigs list or kaboo.

As far as where to sleep, campgrounds usually have a biker/hiker area, and the cost is generally $5 (would include access to shower if available there, too).

Email the communities you plan on passing through and ask for information about these things as well. The local community chamber of commerce or city hall would be the place to email.

Oh yeah .. HAVE FUN!!!

The excellent tip is DON'T LOOK NERVOUS. London is quality - revel in. Half beyond ten is early. You do not say in which you're touring from, however it's wise to grasp the time of the final educate. An A to Z is an excessively well notion - a battered and good thumbed one is likely one of the distinguishing marks of the actual Londoner. Wembley Arena and significant London are more secure than such a lot different areas within the UK.
