Goon squad would be my emotions talking. I truley hope this will ensure more safe and fair voting at the polls. Other controls that concern me are the unethical canidate and party behaviors. In school, I was taught that if you cheat you get zero and go home. Where are the real canidate and politician report cards and why don't we use those to decide who's to get the job. Isn't it more important to pick the right people for the tasks at hand than put so much energy out on controlling votes? I'm an idealist and an amature admittedly.

Some cities have a voter fraud hotline. (Fat lotta good that'll do!!)
Rest assured there will be a lot of cheating on Tues. There are no controls in place in most cities. People will do what it takes to win.

I firmly believe that people who cheat in elections soil the sacrifices made by the men and women who fought and died defending the right to vote....and of course the other rights and freedoms as well.

There are old people at the polls trying to help you use the brand new rigged voting machines. They are idealists too-- they want the American system of voting to work but the system has been co-opted

Paperless voting machines have been hacked many times and there is proof positive that votes were stolen-- as when 350,000 consecutive votes in a row for one candidate, Bush, were recorded in one town. There are irregularities documented everywhere. Watch Hacking Democracy on HBO.

Put on a realist hat for a while; monitor the process. Voting is a privilege and is important. That is why people have decided to steal it and to try to alter elections.

Pick the candidate that you think will do best for you. That's the American way. When they take office, don't crawl under a rock or start whining about anything. Start attending your town hall meetings and monitor what your candidate does so the cheating will stop.

Don't be so dismissive; not everyone is a "goon"-- people are idealists just like you.

Guess what? Some people are going to take cameras to the election polls so they can make a record of their ballot, and the volunteers are going to be there with video cameras making sure that no one harasses anyone
