get all the info good and bad and represent it to her in an adult way and dont argue with her just tell her to please tink about it before she says no definately. Do your research on it talk to your doctor, get info from him to. The good and the bad. Let hermake an educated decision. If her answer is still no then you will have to wait until you can get them your self as an adult.

Things like this always happen- Parents just want their kids to be safe- and healthy. I can't get another cat- but i have a feeling for the holiday's i am getting one because i have bothered my parents soooo much. Just keep asking and asking- maybe it will happen. Another thing you can do is save up enough money to pay for half or all of it- maybe your mom just doesn't want to spend money. I know this one may sound bad but... break your glasses after you get hurt or something- so maybe you would have to get contacts... but my plan would be saving up for half of it... then getting hurt and breaking my glasses so then i could get contacts with out having a lecture about- "we don't have enough money!" soooo that is all i can think of

i would suggest having a long talk with her. explain how you're responsible and how you'll be extra careful taking care of them. tell her how you really want them, and that they're your eyes, not hers! by the way, i've used contacts for 8 years and i love them. i havent had any eye problems...so just explain how youll be with them, and i dont see how she can resist. hope i helped hon!

go to the optometrist with her..
make sure the optometrist ensure her thats its perfectly ok
and u would have to go for normal regular checks ups.
make sure u ask heaps of questions to ur optometrist!
so that ur mum is fully aware about contacts as well.
