The races usually run about 3 hours for the Nextel Cup, 2 to 2.5 for Busch series.

The factors in the time length of the race will vary raceday to raceday.The races last between 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours as a normal event.But add in cautions or weather or a fast track the times can vary from 10 minutes to more than an hour.
The Texas track average is 3 to 3 1/2 hours per race so this race was well into the normal time frame for the races at Texas.

Ithink the texas race started at 3:45 pm ended about 6:15 pm. There are too many varibles for an average; nextel or busch, size of track short 1/2 mi 3/4 mi medium 1mi 1 1/2 mi superspeedway 2mi 21/2 mi. or a road course.

it started at 3pm and ended about 745 pm. Average time is about 3 hours a race.

depends on how many laps, track conditions, the type of car,and how many cautions so you really cant tell
