KG it is. Dirk is known for his offensive prowess. KG gives you shooting within 15-17 ft. Can play with his back to the basket. Better defensively and much better footwork than Dirk. KG is always in the top 10 in rebounding and blocks. KG gets the starting nod. As for who wins in one on one. I think whoever could impose their game and will.

Dirk no doubt. Garnett used to be good, but him and tnd the timberwolves are going down. Bet they don't make their playoffs and have a record of 0-100. Dirk can shoot, block, rebound. He can't do fancy dunks but he can go and jam the ball right over Garnett if he had to do a dunk. There's just no comparison. Dirk Nowitzki all the way.

How could anyone choose KG over Dirk at this point? Dirk is playing on such a high level right now that I may even consider choosing him over Tim Duncan! He can score from anywhere on the floor. He can move like a small forward. He's a 7 foot small forward with a Jumper...you stop him!

I would rather have Dirk but one on one I think Garnett will win because Dirk can't play defense.

I would rather have Dirk. Although Garnett gives you the complete package, scoring, rebounding and defense; Dirk can just flat out score and give you a couple of rebounds as well. He can shoot over people so easily because he's 7 feet tall

I would have Garnett on my team. With out a doubt he is the best player in the league. He can do too much as a power foward. I think lack of publicity he is not seen as much as Dirk. But I think I would take Dirk, one on one he would never miss. Whether its close or far range, he is pretty much solid from where ever.

Dirk vs. Kevin? nah, KOBE please! : ) but to answer your question, who knows? dirk is the better player now, but when garnett first appeared he was projected as a very good all-around player, which is important. but garnett is old or at least not doing much these days? i mean how many t-wolves games do you see these days?

defebnce wins the majority of games and finals...dirk cannot defend...so KG 100% for 1 on 1...Dirk for my team...let him average 36 for the year and trade him for two players... (-:

KG has more fantasy value then Dirk. But for a PF Dirk has some great shooting percentages
