Is this at all common for women. It seems like its stereotypical that women love to shop. I don't like it much. I suppose it doesn't help being on a limited budget. I hate trying to find the best quality lowest price item that fits my needs and preferences.
ugh especially clothes and shoes shopping because I am tall for a female.

I completely agree with you except for me its more of a love hate relationship because sometimes I really do like to get new things. When I have to go shopping I always make sure to eat before I go and I bring bottled water. I also always make sure I have very chill music in my car. Oh, and I moved from New York to California...that helped a lot!

I believe shopping is like any other activity. Some women may love it and find it to be relaxing while others find it to be stressful. Especially on a limited budget, shopping can be stressful on anyone. This is why a lot of people actually get more stressed around the holidays, because of money and also the weather.

No, it doesn't stress me out, but it does wear me out. I love to shop, I am one of those people that has to take hours in every store, looking at everything they have in every aisle, every department. I never know exactly what I am going to buy until I see it. But after hours on my feet from a full day of shopping, sometimes I am so tired I don't even want to put the stuff away when I get home!

sometimes i love shopping, other times i hate it. when i go into fancy stores, i hate it, because like you i am on a low budget. finding cute, affordable clothes can be a hassle, especially with my mom driving me. other times it's more enjoyable, like if i'm shopping for something i will need, but not at this very moment. ex. last weekend i got half my christmas shopping done, was fun and relaxing.

Yes!! I hate shopping- but yet i LOVE it! i went today with some buddies, and it was just bazook- we stayed there for 3 hours and i only got 6 items. Just Stressed out until i get home- when i have everything

It stresses me out in so many different ways, but I love it. Am girly that way, I guess. Always wish I had someone with me to go shopping with though; someone besides family.

I like shopping. I am kind of short I guess and my proportions often don't match the body type the clothes seem to be cut for (stick figures) but it's always been like that so i guess i am used to lots of things not fitting me. my feet, too often don't fit the shoes, i have no idea who all these things fit but it's not me ;P
still it's fun to walk around and look at stuff. it's one of the few things I still kind of like.
my friend doesn't like to shop though so i don't think ur alone in thinking it's a chore. worse, i have another friend who basically has to shop as part of her "job," and she *pretends* to like it... while I as someone who genuinely knows what it feels like to enjoy shopping, just have to sit and let her convince/ deceive herself and everyone else that she likes it. so it's good that you at least admit and know your own true feelings and aren't afraid to say it.

I love to shop--when I can find what I want, where I want to, and for the price I'm willing to pay. Otherwise, I just get frustrated.
(And I totally agree with you on clothes and shoes--they make all the bigger sizes for women who are short, and completely ignore those of us built on a bigger scale. It makes me want to scream.)

I detest shopping & always take a list. It's so bad that if I can't find it at Walmart, I just don't want it...you certainly aren't alone. What's worse than shopping for myself is taking my 13 yr. old daughter...now that is truly hell...there aren't enough stores for her liking.
