what are the benefits of being a member, other than getting the magazine (which I love by the way).

I am a life member. I am making monthly payments, so I have not finished paying the dues yet. I have about 6 more months left. Basically, the benefits are getting exclusive stuff not given out to the public. When I started the process of doing the life membership, I got a magnifying glass, pen & key chain set, a deck of cards with Civil War flags on them, a letter opener, LED book light and a historical P-38 can opener. After making the 6th payment, I got a gaming set. It is made from fine quality wood and I can play checkers, backgammon, dominoes and cribbage. I also get discounts of Club merchandise and discounts at Ancestry.com products. Other than that, I am not sure of other membership things. I will get the magazine for the rest of my life, that is the one bonus I like.

Yes I am a member of the history channel club. I have been receiving the knife set of "America Legacy of WWll Knives". I have received 5 and the case and the shipments seemed to have come to a halt. I was hoping that you may be able to put a little light on why the shipments have been stopped or halted. Thank you for any information.
