Well suplied...40 ft. well...15 ft. from house...3/4 copper feed ...pressure tank...copper plumbing in 1story house...40 psi now but would like to boost another 20. Any simple build it yourself ideas? Pump system is a simple on -off wired direct to pressure switch. The pressure is as high as it will go against the head of what this pump will put out. There is no box with an adjustment at the pump.

Add an inline booster pump and a bladder tank so everything doesn't have to run every time you turn a faucet.

You mention a 3/4 copper feed, ........... Does that mean the line from the well to the pump is only 3/4" copper?? If so, that's not nearly enough for decent pressure or volume. A bare minimum would be a 1 1/2" pipe, 2" even better. If the pump has a pressure switch, there should be at least two hex nuts in the end where the wires attach to the points, that can be adjusted either up or down to increase both the cut -in and cut-off pressures. If there are no such adjustment screws on your pressure switch, then I would suiggest buying one and installing it, or have a new well drilled and get a new pump.
