A few questions actually,
1)How many seasons were actually aired, I can't remember?
2)Why did the show get cancelled?
3)Which season was it that the Monkees were on Bandstand in the show?

I do not know why the show got cancelled but nbc even had a letter writing campaign for it my church sent in well over 2200 letters begging nbc not to cancel it. I loved the brittany snow part she is from my hometown(her parents still live here). But j.j. needed to grow up and the dad was really down on the girls getting an education which i think was stupid even in that day and age. The catholic church had a strong influence on that family and it was in the last season that the monkeys were on bandstand in that show.

It was on three seasons, but I didn't see it the first season. I loved that show and never understood why it didn't get good ratings (that's why it was canceled)
It was a little cliche since every issue ever happened to that family, but I still loved it! (Except I though JJ was a real jerk, especially to Beth and she should not have married him) (The dad was a jerk a lot too, but I guess that's how "men" were supposed to be back then)
