Depends greatly on the team. Some of them put them on sale in December others not till the new year. Go to your teams website and see if the information is there on when and how they will go on sale. It may not be posted yet depending on the team.

It matters for what team you go to. THe Cardinals and Tigers tickets will probaly be impossible to get without over $400, but a really horrible team like the Royals will probably be dirt cheap

It varies from team to team - they each set their own sale dates. Usually it's a couple months before the season starts.
