I have a pending law suit against my former employer and my lawyer says I wont be compensated for the pasin and sufferring

Depends on the laws in your state and the type of lawsuit you have in place. You can always get second opinion from another Attorney in your area to be sure of where you stand.

Depends on what you are suing for. If the lawyer says you can't he most likely is correct. Ask him why.

Depending on what the lawsuit if for..... my advice would be listen to your lawyer thats what youpay him for

get another lawyer. the one you have now is probably good friends with your former employer.
