Keeping liberals out of power. They will cut and run in the war on terror and destroy this economy with tax increases.

I am a lifetime Republican voter and am fed up with the party. Democrats scare me a lot.

1) Ensuring that our freedoms are not further infringed by legislation nor judicial activism. In particular the 2nd and 4th Amendments.
2) Ensuring that our government is not grown even larger by funding of stupid programs that I will not see any benefit from. Especially since only the lowest performers in our society gravitate to government service. (Seen the TSA workers lately, holy cow!)
3) Making sure that all of our CURRENT laws are being enforced before coming up with all kinds of new ones. That applies to crime, immigration, terrorism, etc...
4) Ensuring that the wars we fight are proactive and on foreign shores rather than our own. If we must be the policeman, fine, but then stop getting in the damn way of the policing.

There is more, but that ought to be enough to ensure that I get the right lever flicked/button pushed every time....

I voted for candidates that stuck to what their jobs entailed.

We had a Senatorial candidate here that said "I'll go after the real terrorists."
Like any of us are stupid enough to think that is the job of a Senator? I wonder if thinks a Senator is a federal bounty hunter.

He then went on to bring up the abortion issue in another commercial. Like a Senator has anything to do with abortion? Like or not, abortion is legal and the Supreme Court will never overturn their predecessors' ruling. It's such a stupid thing to bring up every two years.

My other big issue, living in Arizona, is the border issue. I believe our great state is the main sieve causing all the problems. Our governor has blocked every effort to close it up. We need someone who actually cares about our state.

Stem cell research, preserving and protecting Roe V. Wade, Iraq, and holding our leaders accountable for their actions and lies. A friend of mine came home in a body bag during his second tour of Iraq, and I'd like to know why he had to die, I'd like someone to explain to me how oil and ideology are more important then the life of a 22 year old man who served so he could afford an education. Not to mention I'd like someone to explain to me why an administration that sends our troops into harms way under false pretenses continues to cut benefits for veterans.

Overall, to me, National Security is a big concern, but I am not a single issues voter. I am also looking at stances on abortion, gay marriage, illegal immigration, job creation, etc.

2) The fact that my vote can't and won't do anything to end the activism.
3) The fact that I'm not going to vote because of 1 and 2.
