I hear constant complaints from Democrats that they didn't lose the 2000 election even though their loss was verified by liberal news agencies. Also they really didn't lose the 2004 election, it was stolen. I live in Ohio and the Democrats urged every college student to change their registration to Ohio. They were lobbying for the homeless vote. Moveon was paying for each new registration and they still lost. If they win this election they owe a great deal to George Soros who helped hire 700,000 people nationwide to influence the election. Gee, I wonder what his payback is?

1. They are arrogant and believe they are annointed leaders.
2. They never blame themselves when they lose. They blame fraud, stupid voters, and the Easter Bunny. Never self reflection. The first thing I would do if I lost a customer is what did I do wrong?

I am a Democrat, and have never made this complaint. However, I have some questions. I have concerns about what happened in Florida with the "hanging chads", and I have concerns about Ohio, which has never voted for a Republican, but ironically, the President of Diebold sent a letter to Bush, "I promise to hand the state of Ohio to our future President Bush", I'm not a theorist, but, it raises concerns.
Whenever you have a voting system that does not have a valid, verifiable paper trail, regardless of party lines, there are going to be questions and concerns.
There is a really interesting documentary airing on HBO right now, they did an "audit" in a Florida county that actually was anti-Gore, and found that the county, should have favored Bush.
This is not a party issue. Depending on the State and district, some Dems are against it, and some Reps are against it. The bottom line is, we need to look at voter tally, and find a better system that requires an actual paper trail.
If the Reps win-so be it. If the Dems win-so be it.
But let's make sure it's fair and accurate.

Where did you come up with this. Dems are very aware of losing elections-- have you been hiding your head in the sand?

2000 and 2005 PRESIDENTIAL elections are a different story. And that's only TWO races. 2000 was certainly contentious and FL was questionable. 2004 was pretty clear cut even though there was weird stuff that didn't jive with the exit polls. Regardless, pretty cut and dry.

Don't listen to wackos...not all dems think that way.

Because back when Mayor Daley could get the dead of Chicago to vote, they didn't lose elections. The Democrats are just pissed that no matter how much they cheat, they still lose.
