hit on >start>control panel>add remove >check mark on da top of >add remove >show up dates<<
then look for (IE7 ) hit on that then hit remove . (IE7) will uninstall and your system will re-run (IE6) no need to download (IE6) again

You can try www.microsoft.com, but usually, once you've downloaded IE7, which is the newest and the useless version because FireFox had Microsoft beat to it.

Once you have downloaded IE7, normally, you won't be able to download the older version, Microsoft won't let you overwrite it.

I'd recommend you down FireFox instead.

start/Settings/Control Panel/Add remove software/
windows programs/Unistall IE
You will be give the choice to revert to the older version.
