There are some wires running underneath the seat. I believe there are two that run to the buckle on the seat. If you cut and connect the two it should solve the problem. On my truck you just have to hit the seat belt release button and the alarm shuts off. Hope this helps!!!!

The way to deactivate it, is in your owners manual.... I can't tell you as Ford changed it around on some models and the biggest thing is it's weird (lots of bucking and unbuckling of the seat belt in a set time)
Only fix past that is to spend the money and go to the Ford dealer to have them turn it off with their computer.. but most ford dealers just read the owners manual and pocket the extra change for "hooking it up to turn it off"

Set in drivers seat, reach left arm up just past the ear. Grab little shiny silver buckle. Pull down and to the right.
Find square receiver, should be anchored by strap to cab housing. Place shiny silver buckle into square receiver until you hear a click.
Repeat steps for all passengers in vehicle.
Light should go out.

If you go to a junk yard, you can pick up a seat belt buckle disconnected from the actual belt. Pop this into your seat belt buckle, and you will trick the sensor into thinking that you are wearing yours.

I have a 2006 Grande punto, and consider were given to plug the front 2 seatbelts in, commence the ignition, then unplug them, or something similar. by technique of how everyone, you do not comprehend if this guy's indicator is bust, or if it buzzes even as the passenger part is loose, even without passenger contained in the seat. yet except that I trust wearing your belt!

I know what you mean. Even when we are just listening to the radio with the engine off, it goes off every 2 minutes. I usually just get plenty of slack in the seatbelt and buckle it.
