there are many that go from 5 to 40 pounds. I recommend one with a 5 point harness system, and not the bar that goes over the head. It's a real pain in older toddlers.

hi! we've a convertible vehicle seat for our son. He began utilising it at approximately 7 or 8 months. it relatively is no longer hassle-free now and lower back because of the fact the infant is heavy and you of course won't carry the full seat in:) I carry my son into the food market and then get a cart and allow him sit down up interior the front. At places like the mall we use the stroller. i'm going to assert that I relatively have had some hassle at places like the medical doctors place of work the place i did no longer % to deliver interior the stroller and then I ought to juggle the infant, diaper bag & my handbag on my way in, yet I relatively have observed that extra desirable than one mom in basic terms rolls the stroller into the place of work-so i think the stroller is relatively an determination maximum places you circulate. I in basic terms shop remembering that until now i are conscious of it my little guy would be strolling on his very own and that i can't ought to undertaking approximately this difficulty as plenty:)

No really. New borns are so small(or most) and the carseat which would contain them would be too large for a todler and most infants. .
It all depends on size. I have a large granson for 6 months, and most infants would be too small for his car seat . At the same time most seats which fit todlers are too large for infants and new borns.
In as much as you sooner or later need one for all of them I would get seperate seats. But if you only have one child I can understand your not wanting to buy but one car seat in the childs life.
However for safety's sake I would buy first a small infant seat suitable and later a regular child carseat suitable for todlers and older children. Walmarts has them as well as manyother stores.
It's one thing you should not skimp on. Again it depends on size.

The Britax Marathon goes from 5-60 lbs. You have it rear-facing for newborns. It has the 5-point harness. I like it very much.

We always started with our newborns in the carrier that just snaps into the carseat base until our girls were one.

We found that this was the easiest since babies tend to fall asleep so easily when in motion and the carrier would snap onto a stroller as well.

Once they were too big for that seat we switched to the Britax Marathon seat which our girls were able to sit in until they were about 3.

this will show you the car seat...it's now on our 3rd daughter and is still in great shape, we just bought new car seat covers to make them look more fun each time a new daughter transitioned into it!
