Yes, but only so he could appear more feminine by wearign a corset, not for the reason you gave. That part of it was just a rumour. And he is a sexy Rock Goddess/Demon at that!

No, it's just a rumor, an "urban legend" as it were.
From Snopes.com:

He also doesn't throw puppies into the audience with instructions for the fans to kill them before the show will go on - in case anyone wondered.

Nah, that is nothing but a rumor. I heard it alot though! My friend said during on concert- when it was over he tossed his own salad (you know what that is? Watch scary movie 2! The guy in the wheel chair tosses his salad. lol ).
But its not true, most rumors arent true. But if it were true, everyone would know. He doesnt kill animals on stage and all that either, since that would be illegal (Animal abuse), so they should smash another rumor.
He has been in hiatus for a bit....shame.
