My 929 was overheating, had one place check it out, said cracked head gasket. Took it somewhere else, they replaced radiator, fan clutch, hoses, etc. we picked it up on Friday, Saturday we noticed our heater was blowing cold air. We called the shop they said to bring it in on Monday. Sunday we drove it somewhere, blowing cold air again, and we noticed a really squeaky belt. Then the car started shimmying, and had a loss of power. When we got to a safe spot and turned the car off there was smoke coming from the engine! (It never overheated on the drive) Later when we went to drive home it was still running very rough, and the acceleration was very poor. It was like we could not go faster than 20 mph! So we left it at our friends house and got a ride home. None of this was happenning before! What did they do to our car!!!

It sounds like a blown head gasket. This will cause a loss in power for sure. Check you oil on the dipstick and see if it is a creamy frothy colour. If so its defiantly the head gasket. If the heater is blowing cold air it could be an airlock in the cooling system but I don't see how that would relate to power loss. Good luck!!!

Sounds like it is about to blow the head gasket, they should have pressure tested the cooling system first, take off the oil filler cap n look inside the cap, if the oil on it looks milky the head is stuffed.
Take it to a good mechanic.

The engine is shot, maybe a new head will fix it best dump it as its going to cost big money more than the car is worth
