In The Arms Of The Milky Way
(Laura Powers/David Lloyd)

Riding on a comet's tail
She tumbled into life

She reaches up
For a handful of light
Touches it to earth to warn the night
The voices on the wind
Celestial sound
Whispering heaven's here and now

The moon, the tide
The sea of endless sky
She dances with a universe in play
She lights the dark
She knows she is a spark
Even in this new world she feels safe
In the arms of the Milky Way
Orion sneezed and the fourth star fell
He shifted his sword and notched his belt
He caught her laughing
And they both smiled
They felt the spell of a lover's night

The moon, the tide
The sea of endless sky
She dances with a universe in play
She lights the dark
She knows she is a spark
Even in this new world she feels safe
In the arms of the Milky Way

Riding the spiral of light years of stars
Forever's waiting in her backyard

It is pagan. I have Legends of the Goddess but I have not heard this song. I am going to have to check it out. It looks to be about the link to the universe that we all know is there. How everything is connected. IE the never ending circle of life. I bet it is very beautiful

Go through the lyrics and pick out all the lines that could be placed as the world coming to an end. Kinda creepy, but in a good way.

It’s probably about Sophia. Look up the “Nag Hammadi Library” online, find the book called “The Origins of the World”.

Hmmm...
Looks like you're wiccan, or at the least pagan, so you won't get offended by this.(I'm used to people freaking out at any pagan reference I make...lol. Life in the bible belt. And I'm Christian! :-D)

It reminds me of the God/dess.
Beautifull song, really.
