If you find that a thing to be gleeful about, I think you're kind of sick.

Yes, he's been convicted. Yes, he has been sentenced, though he has one appeal. And yes, justice will have been served when the sentence is executed.

No, it's not something to rejoice about. Another human life will have been taken. I find it sad and regrettable, but understand that the law must be upheld. I believe it is a just punishment for his crimes. But to be happy or joyous about it represents a sickness in the soul. It was wrong for Saddam to take lightly the death he caused. It was wrong for him to take those lives. It was wrong to treat his civilians the way he did. It is just as wrong for us to find glee in his death.

Whenever it happens at another's hands, death is regrettable. It may be right, it may be just and it may fulfill vengance, but it should never be a gleeful occasion.

How do you all live so primitively.

You think that he was doing soemtihng he thought was wrong?

He was brought up to do right and to do what he beilived in - thats what he did. Why should he die for that?

I don't know about being happy about it. But justice is being served which is a good thing.

I'll take him to the gallows myself, and drop the lever too.
