Last year when Priest Holmes was injured, Larry Johnson stepped up and became the starter and an NFL Icon. Now with Trent Green out and Damon Huard giving a similar performance, do you think the same thing could happen at the QB postion?

i would stay with Damon...he has the team on a roll and I would not want to mess with a good thing...but Green should not lose a job due to injury so this is a hard thing to do....I think you would have to get the feel of the locker room and kind of feel out if they are behind Damon like they would be for trent..If you keep Damon in you risk losing the team if they get upset that their man lost his job to injury..That does not sit well in locker rooms...

Huard has the flow of the offense right now so I think they will keep green out a little while longer to make sure he is okay while letting huard go as long as the offense is still clicking. In the long term I dint see Green being around much longer and huard isn't a starting qb. They are going to have to find someone else soon. I think Green is great but being in rhythm with the offense is key.

yes, when green is ready he will get his chance because he wasnt yanked for performance, just injury, but the team will feel better with 2 good qbs on hand.
