Personally, I don't see anything unethical about a woman nursing her sister's back. Wet nursing was a common practice for many years and no one batted an eye. My grandmother wet nursed for my great-aunt (her SIL) and my great-aunt did it for her, because, my aunt had an allergy to my grandmother's milk. I also have a friend that nursed her nephew to appease her sister's worries and it worked out fine.
If, it works for both mothers, then why not? Breastfeeding has proven to have many benefits for both mothers and babies!

What is the issue? If the mother cannot produce milk, and her sister agrees to step in, certainly nothing wrong with that- human milk is much better for the kid than formula.
Why is ethics even a question? Nursing is a natural act, it is man's ignorance or shame that has made nursing in this country somewhat of a taboo.
In the past, it was perfectly normal for a child to have a wet nurse, or another woman other than the mother to provide breast milk.

Not really an ethical question at all.
Wet nurses as they were called have been a part of human life since prehistory. Some women make milk easily, others have difficulty. Some new mothers were killed by a bear or in a battle or a fire - there's a hungry baby left over with no mom & he/she only eats one thing.
Royal children had someone from birth who would suckle them so that their important mother would not be tied down with the reponsibility of lactation.
It is only in very recent times with the success of infant formula companies' advertising that there are sizable numbers of babies who drink something other than human milk.

I think it is ethical but it there are some drawbacks. When a baby is nursed it grows a motherly closeness to the mom. In order for the baby to have that early relationship with it's mom, the baby should probably be nursed or fed by the mom.

If the mother and the sister are okay with it and the sister is lactating and able to nurse the baby sure. Breastmilk is an excellent source of nourishment for babies.... Most societies have "Wet nurses" women who breastfeed other children to keep them nourished. In our day and age, we have clinics that women can donated their services of breastfeeding and their breastmilk. Why not get it from a relative. I am a breastfeeding mom, and if my sister has a child that she couldn't breastfeed and that child had to have breastmilk ---I would consider it. It's a form of feeding not a body part anymore

You don't give a whole lot of information here. If a baby was hungry and a woman was there who was able to nurse it, I think it would be generous of her to share her own child's food supply with another baby. It's not like it's some kind of sexual act. It's feeding a baby.

depends on the situation, if the sister is dead, than that is alright, if the sister is standing right next to you while it is happening i might question that. I feel it is ok as long as the one women isn't making her sis do it cause she is lazy, but if like the aunt had to go somewhere and left the baby with her sis to nurse, i think that is perfectly fine

There have been cases where women have had to have other women nurse their babies. Some of the times it's because they have a desease that can be passed to the baby through breast milk or they're unable to produce any.

I think that it a personal choice. Back in the day there were "wet nurse's" and there sole purpose was to breast feed babies (that were not there's) I personally wouldn't want someone to breastfeed my children - but that then again would depend on the situation.
