I showed most with my first, but I was also alot thinner then. Now with my third, I think I am showing more then the second, but then he was rather small.

It certainly is NOT true although for some it is! Many women, due to great genes do not grow much at all with any of their children. Also eating as well as excercise can make a difference. Food does not necessarily have anything to do with showing though! That can be just the uterus expanding.
I didn't show for a long time with my 2nd (it was about the same as 1st), my 3rd a little sooner but with my 4th it was the earliest. But even though I grew quicker this time it has stabilized and I am 4 months and everyone says I am very small, especially for my 4th. It popped out sooner but i am the same at 4 months than I was with the other 3!
I used to work out a ton and i still manage to be in th egym, that really helps the body keep in shape. Especially that tummy!

Congratulations, most of the time yes but it all depends on how long your body has had to adjust to been normal again before the 2nd pregnancy, if its a long period of time like a fair few years then not necessarily but your body does kind of go 'oh this again'. As your muscles have already been stretched with baby number one then its more then likely to take the second pregnancy on easier in stretching. You will also feel the baby move a little earlier maybe around 18 weeks instead of 20 weeks, as your uterus lining is thinner.
Best wishes.

Yes. I showed alot faster with mine. This is my 4th baby and I started showing around 3 months. Same with my 3rd. I dont remember my second though. Im sure I did though. I know I got alot bigger than I was with my first. It didnt have anything to do with weight gain either. WIth this pregnancy I have only gained 7 pounds and Im 5 months along. Thats not that noticeable of weight gain. It has to do with already stretched out muscles.

yes you will show sooner!! at least that is what i have found out after my research. I'm 14 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby and i'm as big as i was a 5 months with my 1st. every woman can be different but with the research that i have done - i have found out that it's common for women to show sooner in 2nd (3rd, 4th etc) pregnancy.

I didn't because w/ my second baby I had realized that being pregnant wasn't a license to eat everything I saw; I didn't gain as much weight the second time around. When I started showing, it was baby and not just extra weight.

I did , especially on my 4th I was showing right away, unfortunatley it didn't go down much after and now I'm stuck with a big tummy, but I have 4 beautiful babies to show for it.

Some women do. I didn't though. No one knew I was pregnant until I was 8 months along...

I've heard that. It happened with my mom. I think it's due to the fact that your muscles are more loose than they were with the first.
