How do i find and install an audio driver on my computer after a clean install?

I reinstalled windows on my sister in laws computer and forgot how to get the audio driver and now she has no sound. i just want to know if xp has an audio driver database and how do i access it.

Upon the install windows will do it automatically. If it doesnt, then it doesnt have the driver. Find out what kind of card you have by downloading a program called everest (google it). Then go to the companies website and download the driver.

Your sister inlaw may have a disc somewhere for all drivers.

depends on the make of the sound card what sound card is it
