I live in Tampa Bay, FL and I have this beautiful chandelier that needs to be rewired. It has 8 lamps.....thanks....J.

unless you want your house to burn!!! just call some electricians and get some prices. The wire would not cost more than $5.00 but the labor to get it done right will not be so cheap.

GOOD LUCK getting an Electrician to rewire anything! go to walmart and buy extension cord wire and pull the old out and replace with the new. You can do it!. You will be able to have an elctrician re-install it, but why? You can do it!

You could do it yourself. But, I know Florida is very strict with codes- plumbing, electrical kind of stuff.
If you have to hire an electrician to hang it, he can rewire it in a very short time.
I live in an area with no code enforcement, so anything goes.

Bring it to a lamp store and have it done. About $40.

you could do it yourself. it is REALLY easy. you can go to your public library and get a how to do book and go from there.....if you have an electrician come...i'm not sure, sorry, but i don't know they can be pricey.
