Please, dont' make me go to IE7 again.

A lot of crashes I've heard of are linked to bugs in Flash player. Go to adobe.com and check for an update.

Failing that, you could always go back to 1.5, or try SeaMonkey.

Have you considered Maxthon?

It has all the active X controls like IE plus tabbed browsing and this handy feature that allows you to resume browsing the same pages if you want when you close the browser.

It is really powerful and I have had A LOT less problems than with Firefox even though I really loved Firefox until the Active X thing became a real problem.

Anyway, just a thought... either way, Good luck!

I am in yahoo right now and Firefox 2 is not crashing? Where abouts in yahoo are you going. Really not to burst your bubble or anything but yahoo is a web portal that has different areas that use different technology. So if its crashing when your listening to yahoo music then that might give us a better idea to look at - or yahoo games.

So please be a little more specific on what "in yahoo" means. Also have you uninstalled FF2 and then reinstalled it?

internet Explorer is extremely crap. i % to advise you are attempting Mozilla Firefox. It reduces the possibility of crashing lots. My mum's complete computing gadget used to crash each and all of the time yet while she put in Mozilla it hasn't crashed in any respect. x
