Is this to much or not enough?

Question

Black eyeliner. [Not heavy and not light.]
Black mascara.
And powder.
[Occ. eyeshadow.]

Is this too much or not enough for a Freshman in highschool.
[I bet i sound SO stupid.]

You DONT sound stupid...im happy ur asking this because in highschool girls usually go overboard with makeup and think they look awesome...when in fact they look extremely fake....

I think eyeliner if kept to a limit (not too thick) looks nice and mascara is fine as well...powder is ok tool...and occasional eye shadow is fine as long as its not to dark...also stay away from dark shades of gloss...from what ur saying ur doing a pretty good job with the makeup as a freshman =) keep it up!...Just remember while ur in highschool keep makeup as minimum as u can because a lot of girls like i said before try to hide behind makeup and that just looks bad..also a lot of makeup tends to be a turn off for guys =)

I think that you are wearing the right amount of makeup... your makeup should be natural looking to accent your face not to cake on and look like a "working girl". If you use to much then you will cause your pores to clog if its a cheap brand of make up. I suggest trying physicians formula make up also it is designed to be good for your skin. Cost more but if you use it like you stated it should work just fine for you. Lip gloss or a decent lipstick also isn't that bad but being your in high school chap stick would probably be just fine.

Sounds great. Don't change anyhting except try some new eyeliner colors. Like light green and stuff. If u wear to much black u will look gothic!

No, but if you have pale or white skin it might look bad. I went a year wearing only black eyeliner, and i have pale skin, and it looked horrible! Ask a friend or parent if they think you wear too much make-up. I know only wear bare minerals, light brown eyeliner, and mascara; but if you think your make-up looks good, keep it. If you think your not wearing enough, take some time off on a weekend and experiment, i know it sounds gay, but its the only way to see what looks good and bad on you.

You don't sound stupid. A freshman in high school is around the age that most teenagers start wearing makeup and it sounds like you are wearing just the right amount of it.

Well powder isn't good. Sometimes you can tell. Just a little blush would do, or neither. Though in my opinion it sounds like a little to much.

NO... YOU'RE NOT STUPID.the first time i used eye liner i was about 22 years old. i used black it made me look like a witch. so i would say to you, out of experience, use a dark brown eyeliner not black. black mascara if o/k . go for it girl, and have fun

sounds allright as long as you don't cake it on like so many make the mistake of doing.

do yourself a favor... go to herberger's or someplace similar that has makeup counters and ask to schedule a makeover. they do it for free and they will show you how to apply so you don't end up looking like a ho.
