I have always had good luck with u-haul.
Do a websearch on the top truck rental places and compare .. make phone calls to them if you have to get the information you need.

I looked up the approximate costs for budget and penske, and both were around $1,700, I assume the others are close to the same. Doesn't look like you are going to get it much cheaper than that. The last link is a upack/they drive sort of place, could not get a quote there without using an email address.

You aren't going to get much cheaper unless maybe you can find someone else moving to around the same area, with room in their truck for your items. To get this info, contact local moving companies, or put an ad in local papers.

I work for ABF (commercial freight company) and we offer a residential moving service called U-Pack Moving. We deliver a truck or portable storage container (ReloCube) to your home; you pack and load your stuff, and then we drive it to your new location. Our prices are often comparable to rental truck prices with two advantages: 1) you pay only for the space you use inside of the trailer and 2) there are no additional charges for fuel, taxes, tolls, etc.

Check out the website for a price quote: www.upack.com.

Good luck!
