It was like a duster but it had 2 or 3 flaps and was like a trench coat, they wore them alot in the old black and white movies, Scrooge wore one in the movie "The Christmas Carol". Please help my husband wants one really bad, and where would I get one.

It WAS a duster and sometimes called an oilskin. Some were made of leather and some were of heavy fabric. both were treated with linseed oil to waterproof them.
Some western wear stores have them. Also try ebay.....

Oiul coats or slickers.
They were a heavier version of the duster

Long coats is the name I've heard. Jesse James' gang used them in the Minnesota raid.
