someone told me the other day that there are 2 different trannys in gm cars.he said there was a turnpike cruiser and a interstate turbo.are there any difference or is he just pulling my leg?

he got you on that one .... those are about as real as muffler bearings or blinker fluid

G.M. offers many differant trannies for various make and models. The two he is telling you however do not exist to my knowledge. If this guy pulls any harder youl be hopping around.

To my knowledge GM offers two transmissions, one with overdrive and one without. Not only was this someone pulling your leg, he was blowing smoke and pulling your chain.

I think they were options in the 70's.You could also opt for rotating hubcaps and seethrough windows.
