Because some people fit the stereotypes- that's all. Stereotypes are based on a grain of truth, and oftentimes, people make themselves fit them. So that's why you know sometimes (but think about all the ones you never guess, because they don't fit the stereotype!).

Congrats. You know the stereotype. Now try to move beyond theatre majors with a lisp that call everyone "honey". No one's saying that there aren't people who match the stereotype. What people are saying is that it's a blurry line: I have met straight guys who I GUARANTEE you would have pegged as gay. And there's a HELL of a lot of gay guys that you look over and assume to be straight. It's not "looking gay"; it's "looking stereotypically gay".
Because that stereotype exists, straight men will try to quell any of that behavior for fear of being mistaken for gay (which is still a horrible thing in society for some reason) and some gay men will play up that behavior so that people don't mistake them for straight (which, I'll admit, does get annoying after awhile). I predict that if people were to stop assuming everyone to be straight, and assuming the stereotype to be gay, there'd be a LOT less gay men that you would be able to "spot".

Perhaps you can tell the more effeminate gay men, but there are some straight men that are effeminate also. The vast majority of gay men look and act like most other men you see. Just because the men you decide are gay actually are gay doesn't mean that there aren't a lot of gay men you never twig onto. I've been gay all my life and I still can't tell just by looking. (Maybe you could give me some tips. ;-) )

I dont really care what anyone says. There are times you can tell when people are gay, not all the time but alot of the time. I believe its because some gay people feel the need to express there sexuality to everyone. So yes, many of them do have a cretain way about them.

the hot testomony and previous testomony at the instant are not 2 separate Holy Books. they're 2 sections of one Holy e book, the Bible. The previous testomony is the part of the e book the place it replaced into basically B.C. (in the previous Christ) and that they've been looking forward to the Messiah. the hot testomony is the section the place Jesus had come and it replaced into A.D. (Anno Domini-the twelve months of our Lord). in case you're calling it a Holy e book, then it somewhat is the Bible because of the fact there is basically one Holy e book.

You can accurately ascertain someones sexuality because you are more observant of the overall behaviors of the subculture. I am not so observant and wouldn't know if a man or woman were gay without them telling me. I also deny others reports of "they're gay" as rumor, rather than as fact, because I've been fooled as a teenager.

It is called Gaydar (gay radar) and it is the result of picking up subtle traits and characteristics that are usually only picked up by other gay or lesbian people.

I'm interested in finding out how you find out that you are correct. What a riot. Seriously do you like follow them around and see if they go out with same sex or how do you do that. and what difference does it make. I think you don't have enough to do in life if that is one of your interests.
