I heard the song in the Movie "Man of the Year" I know it's from the mid to late 60's or early 70's recording. I may be wrong about the tittle of song.

There was a song and dance called the "Hully Gully" that came out in the late 50's or about 1960. I was about 10 to 12 years old then. I would hope that someone more familiar with the music of that era can answer your question.

ya, Hurdy Gurdy Man is done by Donovan, Howard Stern did a remake of it on one of his shows that was pretty cool too.
