Ultrasound can be wrong, because the baby isn't always in the right position to be able to see properly. If you have an amniocentesis done (usually at about 4 months along) the doctor can tell you what the sex is.

Congratulations, yes its common for the ultrasound to be wrong more so saying its a girl but really its a boy. If you carried your girls the same but this time its different try some old wives tales and see what they predicted.
*The ring test with a a piece of your hiar over your belly, it should show up every pregnancy, side to side for a boy and in a circle for a girl.
I have both a boy and a girl, my son I carried low and my belly looked like a teardrop, my daughter was very high and in my ribs I looked round or more like a balloon, this time I look like a teardrop again and feel very low but have been told its a girl, but my ring test was right every-time and says its a boy so I have a 50/50 chance, someone has to be wrong.
All the best of luck and you should know more then a guess on the ultrasound they have only a 50/50 chance of getting it right but also a 50/50 chance of been wrong. Trust your gut instinct but be prepared for either in case.

God I hope not... Told me mine was a boy... And if they turn out wrong then the poor thing will have a lot of blue clothes and a nice nursery full of jungle animals.... Guess we'll know any day now
My ultrasound tech told me that in 17 years of doing fetal ultrasounds, she was only wrong 3 times.
How far along are you? And how long has it been since that ultrasound? You can always ask them to do a repeat- Or wait til youre about 36 weeks, then they should do one to check fetal position. You can have them confirm it then.
Good luck!

I have had 3 boys and was terribly sick with all of them. Im now pregnant with a girl and still sick as a dog. I dont think the sex determines how you will feel. Everyone is different and every one of your pregnancies is different. If it was a boy, you would really be able too tell most of the time. I knew and could see each of my boys clearly. I didnt know what I was looking at when they showed me I was having a girl..lol Usually they are right.

How far along are you (or were you) when you had the u/s?? I know of a few cases where the can be wrong especially if the baby was in a position that was hard to see.
Both my pregnancys were totally different especially in how I carried but I had 2 boys

Yes, ultrasound can be wrong but just because you feel differently than you did with the first two doesn't mean it is.
I have two girls and felt worlds differently with both.
I don't think it has anything to do with the sex of your baby.

i in basic terms had my 20 week sonogram finished on the instant and all alongside this being pregnant (my third) felt so different I felt a boy. I relatively have 2 females, yet they confirmed us a slit good between the legs on the instant. some people say now and lower back the balls do no longer descend until ultimately some time later. My husband who replaced into present day swore those have been balls and the slit replaced into isolating each testicle. yet we are 0.5 way by so we'd besides in basic terms play the guessing activity until transport time. sturdy success to you i desire you get a healthful infant no remember what the intercourse is.

Yes they could be wrong when they say its a girl. I know two people who were told this. One of my friends was told three different times but had a boy in the end.

yes they are not always right. It can be how the baby is and where the cord is etc. They are not always accurate..... My oldest son was supposedly a girl well, i had all kinds of girl clothes and ended up having a wonderful baby boy
