Boys over flowers, suks they have no expression, i just watched the chinese version with my sis, Meteor Garden, i hate little girl manga, such as kodachi or Azumanga Daiho. Am reading Dramacon, and was going to read hot gimmick.

I don't know if this would be considered shoujo, but I really liked Alichino. It's a lovely series. O_O I was like that when I first saw the artwork.
OH! And Ouran High School Host Club! YOU MUST READ!!!
And then La Corda D'Oro. It's sweet. I just bought my copy.
Any CLAMP series works....XP
Princess Princess comes out the end of the month, check that one out! It's HILARIOUS!!

Merupuri, and Vampire Knight. Both are by the same artist. Those are good!!
For standard shoujo (which to me I don't like all that much anymore...) read ANY I mean ANY AND ALL of Yuu Watase's works. Aka Fushigi Yuugi, Alice 19th, Imadoki, Ceres, and tons others which I can't remember...XD

xxxHolic has some qualities that girls would like.
other girl manga i can think up would be Chibi Vampire (anime name would be Karin), Moonphase, Azumanga Daioh, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Tokyo Mew Mew.
And i believe D.N. Angel would count cause the main character does turn into quite the pretty boy which would attract mostly girls. But Elfen Lied. It has a girl lead. But i dont think its quite girly at all.

Hana Yori Dango (boys over Flowers) was ok, but it was kind of frustrating. If you watch the whole series, you'll find out why. Hot Gimmick was pretty awesome!

It usually shows on cable or satellite channels like Encore! or the Action Channel (another Encore! channel)

You can read Gakuen Alice(Alice Academy),it's really good!There's also Hopper and Yummy's Kitchen ,which is not so popular..but I also found it nice.Last but not least,which is very famous,Goong(Princess Hours).
