Yes..absolutely yes! In the event that something about you makes you feel as if you are less of a good person than you really want to be...Take out the trash sister!! =-) In your heart..you know what you're desires are. In your mind..you know how to satisfy them. Take the bad aspects and get rid of them. If a few bad aspects are ones that you utilize as a part of who you are..and they work....then work on making them NOT SO BAD! We all have things about us that we would like to change. Weakness is not wanting to change. Ignorance is not knowing things need to change. You have asked a brilliant question. Best wishes.

Obviously, yes, and with so many answers telling you how, you can't miss. Seriously, I could make several comments on improving your mind, watching your tongue before speaking, being kind to everyone, etc. I believe you have THE answer in the combination of all the advice that you have received here. One day at a time. Every day, day after day. Keep working on it. No one has an easy time being a good person, but keep trying.
You have a good heart or you would not be asking this question. That's a good step in the right direction.

Everyone can become a better person if they really want to, but it doesn't happen overnight. It is something you have to search out and strive for daily. You need a constant awareness that every decision or choice you make could affect someone else. We are all human and fail many times, but I try to never give up. I ask for forgiveness and just keep trying to be the best I can. Good luck.

Of course you can. Look at what a great person you already are! What you need is a good value system. Things you truly believe in and care about. I would encourage you to find an intelligent, open minded, loving community (a tolerant religious community like a church or synagogue) and start working on your spiritual self. I have a feeling you will be moving along very quickly. :)

Education.

Through education you learn many worldviews and expand your own. When you can become sensetive to the plight of others that might not have as much privilege as you, then you can understand how to become a better person.

Question your assumptions. Treat everyone with respect - no matter who or what they are, they are still a human being just like you and just like me.

This is such an open question! How do you want to be better? There are too many ways to respond to this: go to college, dye your hair, exercise, wax your upper lip, hug your mom, never give up, etc.

It depends on what you want to do. If you can identify what makes you note a good person then change it. Charity, mentoring are ways to help.
