I would really think hard about what exactly bothers you about PE, then work on it from that angle. It's really good for your body to exercise it and it also helps your mind work better also. If you excercise during the day it will help you not get that afternoon drop in energy.
I enjoy sports, so I like PE.

It is perfectly OK to be nervous about PE. I hated PE in middle school, too. I am currently in the eleventh grade and am not taking PE! The reason why I hated it sooooo much was because of the dressing out around all the girls. Our teachers would not allow us to use the restroom to dress in so we had to dress in the locker room in front of everyone! To avoid the dress out jitters try these tips: instead of wearing just your school shirt wear a white undershirt also; make sure you shave and if you forget just where some pants it is no big deal; have a good out look on things. I am not exactly what or why you hate PE so much, but another reason why I hated PE so much was because of the stupid games and activities we did. If that is a problem take a survey of the rest of the girls in your class and what they want to do and report it to the PE teachers. I hope I was helpful.

Don't feel so bad, I'm not in your grade anymore but I know what you are talking about. I use to get a little nervous also, I use to hate having to change in the locker room, and then I didn't know if I would do so well when we played something. Then one day I layed in my bed and thought to myself, why am I so worried about it? It's only P.E. if I don't do so well at something it's no big deal. I started to relax a little more and just have some fun with it. Because P.E. isn't the end of the world. So try and relax, I know it might take time, but trust me your going to get tired and worrying about it every week. Good luck :)

I am the same age! Understandable! I hate when people tell me to go get the ball or do something. It's perfectly normal. Just try your best. Figure out simple ways to help yourself, and if you look like your trying or give it a shot, you'll be okay to others and to your teacher. Here's a tip from a girl like you: Don't ever just stand and chat with your pals, even if you suck or hate football, when everyone go's after the ball, just run, not so far that you'll have to pick up the ball, just into the crowd but a bit behind it, so you won't have contact with it. Even try a couple times to get it. Guys don't like girls who just stand there. So to be cool with the guys: Run, To be cool with other girls: Just get into the game, and when its break time, its good for a chat, and to be cool with the teacher: just try you hardest. I know its gross, but get a little sweat out of it, and smile at the end.

~And don't worry! Many girls feel like this. It's perfectly normal, and you have a girl here who sometimes feels the same way! We are all in this together! Just remember 3 steps: Move, Try, and Give it a Shot. I hope I helped you!~

The real trick is daring to risk the embarrassment. Just think of how many macho school athletes can't even get signed into the pros, never mind ever make it to the big time.

Be sure to develop your own special skills and talents, so that you are recognized for those skills and talents. Keep developing yourself in education and develop hobbies, join clubs, like the school newspaper, and the acting groups.

People will get to know the good side of you.

Risking embarrassment is not getting physically assaulted!!!! Remember that. Laughter can hurt, bit only of you allow it to hurt. Just realize we all have weakness too. Perhaps get good at one thing, like tennis, or maybe weightlifting.

Daring to be seen as less than perfect allows us to accept our flaws and move on happily.

I'm in 8th grade, and I'm the exact same way. Are you nervous about going in front of people, or excercising in front of people? Or worrying about changing in front of people? But trust me, I know what you're going through.

take it for first period. get it out of the way so you can focus on the rest of the day. sounds to me like insecurity issues. its ok i had them to. thats why i failed p.e. but i had to make it up. so just knoock it out and dont deal with it ever again. also if you take it for frst period then go to school in your gym clothes with a change of clean clothes so that way you only have to change in public once... kinda questionable but ti could work....

Why are you so anxious is the question. What about do you dislike? Are you unable to do things? These might be reasons why you feel this way. Find what is bothering you, then use your abilities to change it.
