If you are scheduled for a court appearance.. you have to be there!! talk to your attorney again and ask him if it's an actual court? or just filling the preliminary paperwork in court.

You need to make up your mind on a very important question.

Do you trust your attorney?

If the answer is yes, don't ask questions about what you should do here, just be sure you understand their instructions and answer them honestly.

If the answer is no, fire them and fly solo in the Justice system or get another lawyer.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking but....
Sometimes lawyers will tell you that you don't have to appear in court in person (in Canada) because they will appear for you, for certain kinds of court appearances. This is okay, and is done quite often. The judge will issue what is called a "discretionary" warrant for failing to appear that is not executed. If you have a certified criminal lawyer I would follow his/her advice.

What is your question and where should you not go?
You must ask in the form of a question, before you can get an answer.

What exactly is your question, and what is it regarding? This is confusing and I don't think anyone can help you with no information. Be more clear as to what is it that you are looking for.

All your lawyer can do is give you advice. If you are unsure, go ahead and go if it will make you feel more sure of the situation.

Go where, and why do you not wish to go there? Please clarify these things (and work to make the question a bit more comprehensible) so that the best answer can be given. Thanks.
