How could i partition my 40G hard drive? Thnx.?

Partition is done at the time of installation of the system. If you want to do it latter you may have to reformat the drive when all datas will be lost. I can give you a link that deals with hard drive problems. Some RAM/ hard drive problems can be easily fixed yourself by using easily available tools. I found the info at http://fixit.in useful

There are two basic ways:
1) Purchase a partion utility.
2) Depending on your OS, create a DOS Boot Disk with fdisk or similar utility

use the windows cd that came wit your computer or buy windows
