We need more info to help you. But the most likely reasons for slow 3d gaming performance are, in order of probability :

(1)- You need a more powerful video card. Although a 32MB DirectX 9-capable video card is supported, a late-model 256 to 512MB card is RECOMMENDED. Yikes! You can get an Nvidia 7600GS 256MB for under $100 at newegg.com, and that would probably be more than enough to run FSX at smooth framerates.

(2)- You need more system memory (RAM). 256MB is the minimum supported, but because Windows itself takes quite a bit of memory, if you don't have enough, the system will chug noticably (watch the constantly blinking hard drive light in dismay). For FSX, 2GB is recommended as optimal, but I think that getting to 1GB should be sufficient for smooth play.

(3)- You need a faster system processor. 1Ghz is the minimum supported, but roughly 3Ghz is recommended. Athlon 64, Core 2, Athlon X2, and Pentium 4 will be faster than Celeron/Sempron. It would be a good idea to upgrade video and memory first before looking here, as even the fastest processor can be hobbled by shared video or insufficient ram. But with a solid video card and plenty of memory, even a relatively weak processor can play games decently.

Also, before purchasing any new hardware, research that it will be compatible with your system, and that you have tuned your system up as best you can (Virus/Spyware clean, Defragged hard drive, updated drivers).

Good luck! And read this site for detailed info : http://geocities.com/bcselb/

go into your programs and follow these directions:

start>all programs>accessories>system tools> and run disk deframenter and the disk cleanup.

these will free up space on ur computer but if your computer dosent have the requirements, has a virus, or has spyware this may not help

may be you dont have the necessary sytem requirements

better check the minimum sytem requirements

even if you have faster processors better add graphics card tomit

some of the graphics cards producers are
GForce, ATI

You did not tell us anything about your computer. FS is very demanding, you mighjt consider more memory, and a faster computer altogether.
