Many citizens of Iraq supported Saddam. He was put into his role in Iraq by the hands of American politicians during the Reagan era. The Iraqi people know that. They may have had it hard before this conflict started, but basically, they have lost their world as they know it. They could at least live and go about their business if they accepted the rules of Saddam's regime. Now they have lost anything they ever had.
