I live on a college campus, but the people on my floor mostly keep to themselves. I have a few friends here, but I want to meet a lot more people, any suggestions?

Get involved in things that interest you like intramural sports or clubs on campus. Great way to meet people with the same interests. Also try to get to know people in your classes.
I had the same problem when I lived in the dorm. People where in cliches. I eventually found friends at a job I worked and when playing in sports.

Go to a lot of lectures, social functions, even church on Sunday. You'll only meet people if you are around a lot of them all the time.

go out of campus. try to hang out with other people.
always smile, smiling will help you meet a lot of people. it gives tem the sense that you are very friendly and fun to be with

Find good people in good places i suppose..like church, library, playground, sports arena. Perhaps working part time in a fast food outlet, u'll recognize regular customers and they'll recognize u..could turn them into good buddies..(plus get extra cash, good exercise, free meal).

go out to library
caf'e
shops
wherever people are
ask if someone needs help wiv work or if someone is in ur class ask them if they can help u on ya work or something

get off of the computer and go outside. go to church, join a club or sports team.
