I looked through similar questions, but i still don't get it... : (...can someone explain it in easy terms for me? I know it has to do with the Bernoulli's principle.

it *is* Bernoullis principle. Think of pressure as a form of potential energy and velocity as kinetic energy. The total energy must remain constant so, if one increases, the other must decrease.

The faster you go the less it takes to keep you there.
That is given all factors remain the same.
The speed of a projectile increasses more easer at the uper end of the range than at the lower end.
