I don't think so - it does have a spritual quality, though

No; I believe it's written about someone she loved. None of Evanescence's songs are religious.

The realistic answer, is that no one but Amy will ever know. Unless of course she publically announces it. :P

All Evanescence songs can be interpreted in their own way and i most certainly interpret it as one about a lover, but it's completely up to you.
